An extension of our facial herbal infused oil — “Ritual”. If you’ve tried it, you know it for its nutrient dense skin loving ingredients and grounding scent of sandalwood. This base of this balm is a blend of jojoba, rosehip oil and tallow, giving you a rich and deeply moisturizing formula that melts into the skin. This balm is slightly thicker than our whipped tallow, start small as a little goes a long way.

The Scent -- A sweet and soft scent of earthy Sandalwood for a lovely grounding effect.

**I use essential oils very sparingly and responsibly (1-2% dilution ratio).

Key Ingredients include:

• Tallow is known to be incredibly similar to the chemistry of our own skin. It is rich in fatty acid composition, and contains naturally occurring vitamins A and E. Tallow is effective at working with your sebaceous glands to help regulate oil production, support skin barrier function, and influence an anti-inflammatory response.

• Organic Marshmallow root and leaf — This mucilaginous and polysaccharide rich root is nature's form of hyaluronic acid, it helps supports the skin barrier, and retains moisture. Helps reduce the appearance of fine lines. Can help brighten and plump the skin.

• Organic Rose — Gentle on the skin, soothes redness and irritations, tones the skin. Deeply hydrating. Suitable for sensitive skin.

• Organic Yarrow — Anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, antiseptic. Regenerative. Restores the skin. Fights infection causing bacteria. Shrinks the appearance of pores, fine lines, reduces acne and tightens the skin. Helps heal broken capillaries.

• Organic Calendula — Has an affinity for healing the skin. Antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties. Deeply restorative. Beneficial for eczema, psoriasis, dryness, redness, irritations, etc. Helps reduce scars and dark spots.

• Organic Burdock — Provides an abundance of nutrients. Has anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, & antibacterial properties. Thus helping heal acne, and reduce eczema and psoriasis.

• Organic Nettle — Nutrient dense, great for the skin. Acts as natural astringent, can help tighten and firm the skin. Has been found to regulate natural sebum production and help treat acne and dermatitis. Eases itchy skin. Promotes flawless skin.

• Organic Chamomile — Soothing to the skin, anti-inflammatory. Full of antioxidants, brightens, reduces hyper pigmentation, redness and can help regenerate and tighten skin.

• Rosehip Oil — Packed with antioxidants, vitamin C, and natural retinol. Noncomedogenic. Exceptional in assisting regeneration and healing of the skin, while helping increasing collagen production and skin elasticity. Hydrating, can help reduce dullness, inflammation and hyperpigmentation. Can help protect the skin from skin-damaging free radicals and sun damage.

• Jojoba Oil — A wax ester that mimics natural human sebum in the skin. Noncomedogenic. This wax conditions the skin and seals in moisture without causing acne or clogging the pores. Increases the skin's suppleness and reduces fine lines. Anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, noncomedogenic, rich in vitamins and minerals.

All the herbs used in our formulas are either homegrown, wild harvested or sourced from local Michigan farms. Made in a home kitchen that has not been inspected by the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Can be used on all skin types. Spot test first if you tend to have sensitive skin.
